Christmas Day Citrus Update

🍊🍋🎄Christmas Day Citrus Update🍋🍊We have officially reached 31° with a “feels like 25°” and brilliant ☀️SUN☀️ so we uncovered the 🍊citrus 🍋babies and they look a tad wilty and no detectable ❄️frost damage! Pulled 2 giant icicles off! They looked thirsty and had a flash to pit a ProBio5 in a gallon pitcher of RO water, mixed well and gave them a small drink. We will keep them uncovered and in ☀️sunshine for 2 1/2 ish hours and recover for a significantly warmer night, hitting 18°. Citrus can damage at 28° and below – although these varieties can hit the teens and survive at 15°. We had temps up to 20-25 degrees LOWER than that, including 2 nights of wind chill BELOW zero, in the negatives!
